Terms and Conditions
Please find below the terms and conditions applicable when booking with us at Mains of Machermore Farm Certificated Location Caravan Site.
You must be a current member of the Caravan and Motorhome Club to book a pitch with us.
Pitch fees are as advertised on our website.
A non-refundable deposit of £5 per night booked will be required at time of booking. Your booking is not secure until your deposit has been received. This can be paid by cheque or bank transfer.
The balance of your pitch fee is payable prior to arrival if paying by bank transfer or on arrival if paying by cash.
Arrival on site is from 12.30pm onwards and we ask that you vacate your pitch by 11.30am on your day of departure.
From 1st January – 31st March 2023 15 units of electricity are included in the pitch fee any extra electricity units used requires to be paid for. From 1st April 2023 we are reducing pitch fees but all electricity used during your stay will be charged in addition to your pitch fee at our energy supplier's variable rate tariff at the time of your stay. On arrival an electricity meter form must be collected from the “Wee Hoose” on site and the opening meter reading entered before plugging into the EHU of your pitch. On departure the closing meter reading requires to be entered to the form when unplugging from EHU. The form should then be placed in the secure box in the Wee Hoose with any cash payment. Payment can also be made by bacs.
Awnings can be pitched on hard standing or the grass but only breathable ground sheets are permitted to be used on the grass.
We are a working farm. All farm buildings are out of bounds and you must be aware of farm machinery moving about at any time.
Dogs must be kept on a lead and under control at all times. Maximum of two dogs per pitch only. All dog poo must be cleaned up from anywhere on the CL or farm. Dogs must not be left unattended in any caravan or motorhome.
We reserve the right to refuse acceptance or to terminate the visit of any persons whose conduct we deem is detrimental to us or to our other visitors.
We can only dispose of your everyday domestic waste. You must not leave any large broken items or packaging.
The flying of drones from our CL and taking of photos or videos of our CL site or private property by drone is not permitted without our prior consent.
We will not be held responsible for any loss or damage, however caused, to your property or vehicles or any injury to you or your visitors whilst staying on our CL.
Please also familiarise yourself with the Caravan and Motorhome Club rules regarding staying on a CL.
Cancellations :-
If WE have to cancel your booking prior to your arrival we will refund in full any payments you have already made or move your booking to an agreed future date.
If YOU have to cancel your booking please get in touch as soon as possible. Bookings cancelled or amended prior to 28 days of arrival, if dates are rebooked, we will refund any deposit payments made. If dates are not rebooked no further payment is due but the deposit is not refundable.
Bookings cancelled or amended within 7 days of arrival, full payment for any cancelled dates will be required to be paid unless the dates can be rebooked. This includes non arrival due to vehicle breakdown, illness or bad weather conditions. Please have appropriate travel insurance in place to cover these issues.
Your booking is only cancelled once you have received a confirmation of cancellation email from us. If you do not receive a confirmation of cancellation email please get in touch again as occasionally emails and messages are not received by us.
Information contained within the booking site and our website is as accurate as possible but we shall not be responsible or liable for the accuracy, usefulness or availability of any information made available or any error or omissions that might be found in that information.
By accessing and using this online booking service, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.
