Machermore Augustus

Sold privately to Genus 2007

Sire of Gerrygullinane GLEN

2001 saw the purchase of our first Limousin cattle.

We have sold many bulls over the years.  The highlight being the private sale of Machermore Augusts to Genus in 2007.

Mochrum Stella and Mochrum Demi

2016 we purchased our first Belted Galloway heifers from Mochrum Estate.  Georges mothers side of the family had bred Belted Galloways from approximately 1854 until his uncle George Sproat retired in 1997.  During this time the Boreland Herd exported many cattle all around the world.  Following George Sproats death and looking further into the family history we decided it would be nice to continue the family tradition.  Mochrum estate Belted Galloway herd, one of the oldest registered herds, had purchased some of their  first Belted Galloways from the Sproat family way back in the 1890s so it only seemed right that our first purchase was a Mochrum heifer with Boreland herd breeding in its pedigree.  Mochrum Stella and Mochrum Demi our first two Belties.
